Duck Dynasty's Robertson Family Reveals Part IV

It's Wednesday!

All new episode of Duck Dyansty on A&E at 9pm. (For the record, my kids are super disappointed there is only one new episode a week versus the back to backs they used to have.)

So? What have I got for you....

The Robertsons en mass were seen on the ACMs this past Sunday night, lookin' all spiffed up and fabulous.

Korie and Willie did a great job presenting an award to Jason Aldean. My kids spent the whole show yelling, "There's Phil! There's Willie!" whenever the camera panned to their row of seats during the show. Forget the awards, it was a virtual "Where's Waldo, Robertson Edditon" at the Sexton household. Minus the red stripes.

Guess what? Guess What?
I've got more pictures of the illusive Christine Robertson!

I think we'd all get to know her as we've gotten glimpses of what the other family members are like.

Here's an older picture from a church directory in Alabama

In this church directory(circa 1993), the teenager in the picture's name is Scott. I've not been able to uncover a whole lot about any Scott Robertson. At first, I thought maybe he was a possible foster child (perhaps Willie and Korie got their fostering inspiration from an older generation?) but the resemblance between Christine and Scott are too alike. Their noses and their smiles are very much alike. Sooo... I'm not sure. Silas Robertson's step child? The couple's actual child? I just don't know. I'll keep digging.

Speaking of Korie and Willie's children (middle of last paragraph) here a some fun pictures that Korie posted on Instgram:

Silly, I like it.

For more Silly, I'd like to share a few videos that Jase and Si did for a car dealership in Arkansas. They made me laugh. Unfortunately, I can't get the darn things to embed in my blog, so you'll have to click the Video Links.

And the following's my favorite!

Duck Dynasty Robertson Family Reveals Part III

It's Wednesday and we're all Happy, Happy, Happy!

First on my list is the seemingly breaking news that gasp our favorite Robertsons are now demanding more money and production has been halted. First of all, Season Three has been put to bed. They have already finished taping the shows for the coming weeks. This means any delays in viewing will not be a problem until October. BUT from what I've gathered, the family is asking $200,000 an episode. I italicised family because nowhere did I read each person was asking this amount. Do you wanna know what Mariah Carey is making for her time on Idol? 18 MILLION. In US DOLLARS!! And who's the daddy of all non scripted (this is what Hollywood now wants us to call reality TV) television? It happens to not be Miss Carey and her friends over on Fox. So worth it? Yeah. You go, Robertsons!

I've got more beardless pictures for y'all!

Then and now of Mr. Bradshaw and Mr. Phil Robertson

Here's a story from Duck Dynasty Producer, Mike Odair-
Phil Robertson told him about recent airport encounter: “He was in the airport, he told me this, and all of a sudden he gets this great big bear hug from behind him, and he turns around and it’s Terry Bradshaw. And so they start talking, and as they’re talking … All of a sudden, up walks Joe Montana.”
“Phil said, ‘Odair, I look around, there’s just everybody standin’ around takin’ pictures,’” Odair said. “I’m sure that was a crazy sight for people in the airport.”

Now, Phil Robertson has been traveling around doing presentations that include his duck calls, demonstrations of calls, his rise from his back shed to making millions and his faith. I don't think he passes up a chance to spread the Good Word.

What Miss Kay has to say about her faith and the show:

“It’s a total mission and ministry. Despite the spiritual material cut out of the show," the duck lady said, “We’re so blessed for what we can get in there. That’s really unknown in today’s TV on a regular, big TV network like that.”

Phil's Wise Words:

"Hollywood has run upon the kingdom of God, and there’s a rub there,” continued Robertson. “Well, we have to be as harmless as a dove and as shrewd as a snake in the way we deal with them.”

Oh crud, I had promised you more beardless pictures! I guess I'm just excited to see a family of faith in the limelight. Okay, here goes:

I had posted a similar picture in a previous post, but this one's from a different angle....

Jep? Is that you?

This one's pretty self explanitory. MUCH younger Silas Robertson
I think I've voiced my distrust of the realism in reality TV. It seems a bit set up to me and here's a blurb strait from Duck Dynasty producer, Mark Odair's mouth:

Watch Duck Dynasty and you can see that it starts with some guys who are real characters. Their lives create situations that are the seeds of the show’s stories. They play along in creating a slightly exaggerated version of life, but it’s done with a wink and a nod – they’re in on the joke, and so is the audience.

Fact for all my readers: Each episode takes about a week to film.

Wanna see some wedding pictures???? Okay!

Above is a split screen Korie had posted on her Twitter account on the day of her and Willie's 21rst wedding anniversary.

And here's a group shot. Labeled because beardless Jace does not look like the Jase we've fallen in like with.

Wanna know what Willie got Korie for their most recent Anniversay? A wide variety of As Seen onTV products.
Hmmmm..... Remember the Shake Weight Willie was using for the class reunion episode???? Guess where he got it?!?!?

Sooo.... now you wanna know what the season finale of Duck Dynasty will entail?

Ermahgerd! ! ! ! The Robertsons go to Hawaii. I repeat, the Robertsons go to Hawaii.

Duck Dynasty Robertson Family Reveals Part II

I hope you found my post from Monday about Duck Dynasty and the Robertson family fun and informative. If you weren't able to see all the pictures your first time through, check again. I fixed a few that weren't available on the mobile site, so you should be able to get the full effect now!

So what more is there to say about these guys? Lots! Here is some more things you may not know:

Phil Robertson does not own a cell phone or computer. I repeat, NO CELL PHONE or COMPUTER!

There are three things Si Robertson claims he never goes anywhere without: A jug of iced tea, his blue cup and his Bible.

Here's an interesting thing about Si's cup, which may as well be a character on the show, his mama sent it to him while he was fighting in the Vietnam War. He's had it ever since. Let's all give a big collective "Awwwww!" That is truly sweet.

Here's a picture of beardless Si from his military days:

Would you like to see more beardless Robertsons? Okay!
Si, Willie and Jace
Alan, Jace, Willie and Jep

Jase, Jep and Willie

Jase, Alan, Willie and Jep

Jep's Senior Picture

Sooo, seems Jep has a bit of the Roberston handsome gene as well. Them beards sure do hide some pretty faces!

Although we see a little more of Jep this season, it seems he is more of a behind the scenes guy. He is responsible for most of the taping and editing of Duck Commander Videos.

Here is a picture of Jep and Jessica during a wedding photo shoot. Jessica was modeling the hair piece and they asked Jep to join in the shoot!

A very retro-chic, Country Music Video look!

Ever wonder where Duck Commander Headquarters and the Robertson live?
Why, the answer would be Monroe and West Monroe, Louisiana

Duck Dynasty was the most mentioned television show on Facebook in 2012. That is A LOT of mentions considering how many shows are out there.

Duck Dynasty is the top rated reality television show on right now, topping American Idol and Survivor.

The hand crafted reeds (That's Si's job, making reeds) are made from Louisiana Cedar Trees:

Each call is handmade at Duck Commander. They are also tested and tuned (Jase does that.) Each and every one!
In case you don't know what a duck call looks like.

Out of all the things I've dug up and discovered, I found an article from 2009 in The Christian Chronicle the most fascinating. The article talked about Phil Robertson's life and road to faith. Click here to read the full story. It's really worth your time.

And now I shall close another addition of Robertson Family Reveals with my favorite Si quote. It cracks my up. Every. Single. Time.
